General Summary:

The Production Associate position is responsible for the primary day-to-day production duties of a state of the art medical cannabis cultivation facility. These duties include cultivation, feeding, harvesting and trimming including finishing and packaging medicine. The Production Associate has responsibility and takes an active role in:

Learning and following proprietary cultivation and production methods


Complying with program regulations as it relates to cultivation operations including proficient use of seed to sale software


Uphold all standards and procedures pertaining to cultivation facility cleanliness

Patient Service Associate position provides New Hampshire qualifying patients with outstanding service and assistance in helping them obtain their cannabis medicine at our ATC’s in Dover and Lebannon. Patient Service Associate has responsibility and takes an active role in:

Serving qualifying patients and caregivers in obtaining their medicine


On-going training in customer service delivery


Assists in dispensary openings and closings and protecting dispensary assets by following Temescal Wellness operational policies and procedures


Complying with program regulations as it relates to retail operations/dispensing including use of seed to sale software

Massachusetts

Production Supervisor

Title: Production Supervisor
Reports to: CEO
Location: Worcester, MA
Department: Production
Position Type: Full-time; permanent; exempt
Compensation: Annual base salary DOE, profit-sharing bonuses, and medical, dental and vision benefits. Salary raises may be considered upon the achievement of milestones relating to successful harvests; COGS decreases; no adverse findings (fines, serious offenses) stemming from a DPH inspection; fluency in labor management/inventory planning model.

General Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a 15,000 square foot medical cannabis production facility in Worcester, Massachusetss pursuant to and in compliance with local and state laws and regulations, including especially MA CMR 725 et seq. This individual is the manager-in-charge of a range of day-to-day tasks at one facility. The Production Supervisor will, based on the production schedule, identify work tasks, schedule, train, and manage production associates, and concisely and clearly communicate needs to senior management for staffing, supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

Ensure staff compliance with all applicable government regulations, Temescal standard operating procedures(SOPs), including sanitation, security, workplace safety, confidentiality, and seed-to-sale software requirements, among others.


Plan and facilitate the start-up of the Worcester cultivation program, to include sourcing of medical cannabis genetics; allocation of resources and production planning; and participation in inspectional protocols required by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) to ensure a final certificate of registration is achieved.


Manage, train and schedule a team of production associates. Manage plant scheduling and organization to precisely project all cultivation needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to keep plants healthy and expenses . Contribute to SOP development and training materials.


Manage and maintain a wide array of supplemental lighting systems; environmental control systems; irrigation systems; nutrient systems; and other similar systems utilized in the cultivation and processing of cannabis and its by-products. Assist with facility maintenance and troubleshooting.


Perform all the tasks related to the cultivation of medical cannabis plants, and train and oversee others in performing those tasks, including: tissue culture, cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, pest monitoring, foliar and preventative sprays, harvesting, trimming, packaging, waste disposal and inventory management.


Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.


Plan, implement and document an Integrated Pest Management plan. Continually enhance knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options. Managing and modifying nutrient regimens including both soil-based and hydroponic systems.


Maintain an accurate database, analyzing each individual strain from clone to flower to harvest to trimming and curing, using seed to sale software and associated tracking spreadsheets.


Monitor and support employee safety, morale and productivity. Assist with the employee life cycle, including recruiting, interviewing, training, online scheduling, time and attendance and performance management.


Aid staff in preparing for audits and, as needed, assist state and local governmental auditors.


Effectively and efficiently document, collaborate and persuade by using software and telecommunications tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, email, calendars, text, chat, webinars, seed-to-sale and other software, etc.


Perform the following physical tasks:

Stand and walk for extended periods of time;


Bend, squat and stoop, twist and bend the neck and waist and reach above and below shoulder height to grasp objects;


Bend and lift loads of up to one hundred (100) lbs; and


Use hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation;

Retail Manager

Title: Retail Manager

The Retail Manager is responsible for the management and operation of a retail facility located in Baltimore, MD, pursuant to and in compliance with local and state laws and regulations, including COMAR §§10.62.01-10.62.35.

General Summary:

Prior to receipt of final certificates of registration from the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC), assisting with the design and final fit-out of facilities, including SOP refinement and participation in state inspections to achieve final certificates of registration


Hiring, managing and supervising dispensary staff


Ensuring “seed to sale” software is used in compliance with program regulations


Start-up and on-going training/mentoring of dispensary staff


Overseeing dispensary openings and closings and protecting dispensary assets by following Temescal Wellness operational policies and procedures


Complying with program regulations as it relates to retail operations/dispensing, handling of all patient data and maintaining of patient database


Dispensary and staff scheduling, retail sales analysis and reporting, managing to target margin and labor metrics

Proven ability to create and implement management tools, e.g., plans and schedules, to ensure compliance with SOPs and consistency of product supply and quality.

Accountant

Location & Travel: The candidate will be located near Baltimore, MD and will travel approximately 5% of the time.

Temescal Wellness invests in, launches and manages state-legal cannabis companies. Founded in 2015, Temescal operates two dispensaries and an all-organic, cultivation-and-manufacturing facility in New Hampshire; is building-out three dispensaries and an all-organic, cultivation-and-manufacturing facility, in Massachusetts; is building-out a dispensary and a cultivation-and-manufacturing facility in Maryland; holds active ownership positions in two, revenue-generating cannabis product companies; and is evaluating other opportunities nationwide to acquire and start new businesses. Temescal Wellness will have multiple product brands and multiple cultivation, manufacturing and retail locations nationwide.

Accountant Duties & Responsibilities:

Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database


Construct data accumulation systems


Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent and insurance)
