Temescal Wellness was recently awarded two of the four medical cannabis licenses in New Hampshire. Temescal Wellness will cultivate cannabis, manufacture numerous cannabis-infused products, and operate two retail locations to serve qualified New Hampshire patients. We expect to begin construction in Q3 2015 and to start serving patients in Q1 2016. We are looking for a Production Team Manager who wants to make a positive contribution to the health of cannabis patients, and who is looking to accelerate their career.

General Summary:

The Production Associate position is responsible for the primary day-to-day production duties of a state of the art medical cannabis cultivation facility. These duties include cultivation, feeding, harvesting and trimming including finishing and packaging medicine. The Production Associate has responsibility and takes an active role in:

Learning and following proprietary cultivation and production methods


Complying with program regulations as it relates to cultivation operations including proficient use of seed to sale software


Uphold all standards and procedures pertaining to cultivation facility cleanliness

Requirements

Ability to multi-task with excellent follow through skills
Strong attention to detail
High-energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
Thorough knowledge of all Temescal Wellness cultivation protocols, policies and procedures
Skilled in general computer operating systems and applications.
Ability to visually examine products for quality and signage/labeling accuracy
At least 21 years of age
No felony or drug related felony
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Prior greenhouse or manufacturing experience a plus

General Summary:

Patient Service Associate position provides New Hampshire qualifying patients with outstanding service and assistance in helping them obtain their cannabis medicine at our ATC’s in Dover and Lebannon. Patient Service Associate has responsibility and takes an active role in:

Serving qualifying patients and caregivers in obtaining their medicine


On-going training in customer service delivery


Assists in dispensary openings and closings and protecting dispensary assets by following Temescal Wellness operational policies and procedures


Complying with program regulations as it relates to retail operations/dispensing including use of seed to sale software


Maintain well-stocked and beautifully merchandised dispensary


Uphold all standards pertaining to dispensary cleanliness and Serv-Safe guidelines for infused products handling


Initiate seamless customer service by making every effort to find a product for patients if items are not in stock


Maintain store security including building security and cash handling

Massachusetts

Production Supervisor

Title: Production Supervisor
Reports to: Operations Manager (or next most-senior production-focused manager)
Department: Production
Position Type: Full-time; permanent; exempt; with potential to start part-time

The Production Supervisor – Processing is responsible for overseeing extraction and infusion program in a 15,000 square foot medical marijuana production facility in Worcester, Massachussets pursuant to and in compliance with local and state laws and regulations, including especially MA CMR 725 et seq. This individual is the manager-in- charge of a range of day-to- day tasks at one facility. The Production Supervisor – Processing will, based on the production schedule, identify work tasks, schedule, train, and manage Production Associates, and concisely and clearly communicate needs to senior management for staffing, supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

Ensure staff compliance with all applicable government regulations, Temescal standard operating procedures(SOPs), including sanitation, security, workplace safety, confidentiality, and seed-to-sale software requirements, among others.


Plan and facilitate the start-up of the Worcester processing program, to include extraction and infused product manufacturing programs, and recipe/formulation research and development.


Contribute to start-up inspections required by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) to ensure a final certificate of registration is achieved.


Manage, train and schedule a team of processing Production Associates. Manage production scheduling and organization to precisely project all processing needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to meet retail and wholesale demand. Contribute to SOP development and training materials.


Manage and maintain extraction, infusion, and other processing equipment; environmental control systems; supplies and materials; and other equipment. Assist with facility maintenance and troubleshooting.


Perform all the tasks related to the processing of medical marijuana raw material, and train and oversee others in performing those tasks. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.


Plan, implement and document safety and sanitation, and equipment maintenance programs. Continually enhance knowledge of extraction and infusion methods.


Maintain an accurate database, accounting for material and analyzing COGS, using seed to sale software and associated tracking spreadsheets.


Monitor and support employee safety, morale and productivity. Assist with the employee life cycle, including recruiting, interviewing, training, online scheduling, time and attendance and performance management.


Aid staff in preparing for audits and, as needed, assist state and local governmental auditors.


Effectively and efficiently document, collaborate and persuade by using software and telecommunications tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, email, calendars, text, chat, webinars, seed-to-sale and other software, etc.


The ability to perform the following physical tasks:

The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time;


Bend, squat and stoop, twist and bend the neck and waist and reach above and below shoulder height to grasp objects;


Bend and lift loads of up to one hundred (50) lbs;


Use hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation

Compensation:

Annual base salary DOE, profit-sharing bonuses, and medical, dental and vision benefits. Salary raises may be considered upon the achievement of milestones relating to successful harvests; COGS decreases; no adverse findings (fines, serious offenses) stemming from a DPH inspection; fluency in labor management/inventory planning model.
